STUDENT AWARDS

One of the great efforts that TSOP makes is to encourage and reward students of the highest caliber to attend and be apart of our society. One of the ways we do this is to heavily discount registration fees to our meetings. Another way is to give awards for excellence.

Travel Awards:

Discover exciting opportunities for students! Three Student Travel Awards valued at USD 1000 each, with deadline of April 30, 2024. The prestigious Colin Ward Emerging Student Researcher Award, valued at USD 700, also due on April 30, 2024. Additionally, seize the opportunity to win one of two Spackman Awards, boasting prizes of USD 1000 and USD 750, before the May 31, 2024 deadline. Don’t miss out on these attractive prospects to enhance your academic journey! Please go to the TSOP website (https://tsop.org/awards.html) for applications and guidelines. If you have any questions please email: Carolina Fonseca (cmfonseca13@gmail.com).

Awards at the Conference:

During the conference TSOP judges will be awarding the Danielle Kondla Best Student Presentation Award. Usually two awards, $300 for the oral presentation and $200 for the poster presentation, are given during TSOP conference closing ceremony. Student-author must deliver the oral presentation to qualify for the Best Oral Presentation Award. Student-author of the poster must deliver the presentation of his/her poster to qualify for the Best Poster Presentation Award.
